Tithes, Offerings and Options for Giving

As a local church, Calvary Chapel Heartland depends on God for its operating budget. Though God is not limited to one way of providing, He most often uses those who consider CCH “home” and those who are ministered to by CCH to help meet the needs of the ministry.

CCH doesn’t pass an offering plate during services. Instead we provide an Agape Offering Box near the spiral staircase in the lobby for tithes, offerings, and gifts of worship to the Lord, as well as providing this method of online giving.

Other ways to give include contacting your bank and arranging automated bill pay services sent to CCH, and giving by mail to the CCH address at 11029 Hwy 96, Fort Valley, GA 31020. CCH is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, therefore gifts are tax deductible.

Calvary Chapel Heartland does not send or receive money from a denominational headquarters. We and those who attend CCH do however support missionaries and other ministries.

We hope that each gift you give is a response of obedience and an act of worship. Jesus said in Matthew 6.21, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

The Apostle Paul noted that God loves a “cheerful giver.” (1 Corinthians 9:7) We encourage all to, “Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him! Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness ..." (1 Chronicles 16:29) recognizing that, "He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness." (2 Corinthians 9:10)
